On Friday, 3 November 2017, the Belize Archives and Records Service invited Professor Joel Wainwright to kick start their lecture series in Punta Gorda Town, Belize. The goal is to bring greater awareness to the rich collections that are housed at this valuable institution in capital City of Belmopan.

PROF. JOEL WAINWRIGHT

Prof. Wainwright is a well published geographer whose works aims to understand the struggle of the subaltern and to develop collective solutions for a more just and free society. His work in Belize began in the early 1990’s.
