The 1931 Exchange of Notes is a binding treaty between Britain and Guatemala. It recognized the validity of the 1859 Convention as well as recognized the border markers at Garbutt’s Falls on the bank of the Mopan River and at Gracias a Dios on the River Sarstoon.
